Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church is dedicated.

It is located at 155 Humboldt Avenue. A non-denominational congregation, it was established on September 10, 1939. Samuel H. Bullock is the first pastor and serves until his death in 1969. His grandson, Miniard Culpepper, is the current pastor.
